random thoughts

I ended up going out last night and having a good time with some of my friends, and it just made think about the whole concept of going out with friends. It is something everyone does and it is something we like doing, going out with friends is very different from just going out with people you work with. It is a lot more fun that is for sure and it feels like times flies by you, by the time you know it it is already way past midnight and you start to think about how that headacne is going to affect your next day. But you really don't care because it has been all worth it, your friends is like your second family, often better than your family because they are always there for you. I have not been able to make a lot of friends since coming to Japan, and the older you get the harder it gets to make new ones. But I must say that I have been blessed to make some very good friends over the last few years and feel generally warm at heart when I think about that. I am having a party with most of those friends on Saturday to celebrate my birthday and I am sure it is going to be great, it always is when all the boys get together!

Steak Roast !

I made a Steak Roast last night, it has been a while since I made that. But that is not because I don't like it, it was because they don't tend to sell blocks of meat like that here in Japan. I used to go to this meat place that sold it but they closed down and since then I have not made a roast. But just the other day I went to Costco and found a nice block!

ひさしぶりに肉のオーブン焼きを作りました、この何年間は売ってるところな かったです。昔は上野でよく肉のブロックを買ってたけど、最近食べてないな 〜。昨日はひさしぶりに美味しかったです、また自分はつくるのにかなりの自信 がある。。。これはまた買って食べたいですね！

Fighters training!

We got together for the first official team training of the year, but as you can see the turn up was close to nothing! I like to blame it on the cold weather but you never know why fighters don't show up for training?

チームの初稽古なのに、こんなメンバーしかいない？ちょっと寂しいです けど、来たメンバーは思い切り稽古をして今年のいいスタートを切ったん ではないか？

Last night we shot on a show called Umajin! It is a horse race prediction show, but as usual Bob made it into his own thing! It was very funny! It is airing tonight on BS Fuji from 2:00 so if you have a chance and you are not in bed yet then check it out.

sleeping at night!

I am on my second week of working out now, and although it is kind of going slower than what I used to be able to I am getting a little fitter everyday. I don't see the change in my weight yet but I know I working out because I sleep like a baby at night now. And let me just say that is just awesome, to be able to go to bed at night and sleep all night through. There were a couple of years where I couldn't sleep more than an hour or two without waking up from the pain in my hip. I was loosing it slowly but steadily, it simply wears you down. But lately I have been enjoying some real nice sleep, uninterrupted sleep is priceless. I woke up the other day after having slept all night and looked around my bedroom, going in my mind "Wow that was weird? what time is it now? No way! it's morning..." I am loving my new hip!

よく眠れるようになった！本当に最近は毎日走っているので本当に体が動かした後の眠りって気持ちいですね。久しぶりにこの二週間で毎日夜ベッドに入ってからすぐに眠りに入って、何と朝までぐっすりです。いや～、実に言うとこれは本当にプライスレスです。朝まで寝れるって言うだけで幸せです。前は１～２時間しか寝れなかった、足の痛みがひどくって毎晩目が覚めました。それが最近毎日運動するようになったので本当に気持ち良く寝てます。運動って言うのはちゃんと息を上げていっぱい汗をかいて、疲れたな～って言うのは運動です、自分の頭の中ではリハビリと運動は全く別なものです。ある意味の運動ジャンキーかも知れないです、あの体を気持ちよく動かした後の水はどんな酒よりも美味しいです。今年は美味しい水をたくさん飲みたいです！

New Year New Pipe !

I decided that the old muffler on my bike was way too big hiding the
beautiful back wheel, so I found a really small one on the net and
yesterday we installed it at S. P. Works. It totally shows off the
wheel and looks so much better than the old one. Now you can even sit
on the back and not be affraid to burn your shoe!

新しい年、新しいマフラー！
前のマフラーは大きすぎたため後ろのホイルが見えなかったので、もっと
小さいなマフラーを探して昨日S. P. Worksでつけてもらいまし
た。本当に小さくって、後ろのホイルがよく見えるようになったし、ナイ
スサウンドだし。。。なかなか、気持ちいいです。これで今年のレースは
楽しみです！

2010 Happy New Year

So here we are 2010 it came a lot faster than I had first expected! I mean, what happened to the 90's? I was just quitting school and saving up money to go to Japan, and now its 2010? Wow, I must have been very busy to have missed the 90's. Then the year 2000 came and we passed into the next millenium, and that was...Yes, that was already 10 years ago. Sometimes I feel like I have been too busy, I am always trying to move forward and get to the next thing. In Japan during the New Year break everyone gets a chance to hang out with their families and reflect on the year gone and the new year to come. It can mean spending a lot of time in front of the TV because most shops are closed during this time, but it can also mean some time with your kids. I went running in the park yesterday with two of my girls, and that is something awesome. I am able to enjoy some outdoors activities with my girls now. And they can even keep up with me in the run! Next step is to get the wife to come along! :) anyway, I have a great feeling about this year, lots of positive energy and good things to come. I have some more acting jobs in the works and that is something I love to do, so that is going to be a lot of fun. I will be playing a role out of this time era, so that will be a first for me. All in all I feel very exited about this new year 2010. It is the year of the Tiger btw.

あけましておめでとうございます！ようこそ２０１０年へ。。。いつの間に２０１０年になったの？僕はつい最近なように学校をやめてバイトしながら日本に行くひようをためていた気がします。って言う事は９０年代はどこに消えた？９０年代にもうすぐ２０００年になるからミレニアムが変わる話で皆興奮していたの覚えていますか？それはもう１０年前の話です！早いもんですね？お正月は大体みんなゆっくりしていますけど、今年は元日から公園に行って何と子供たちと走りました。まさかの公園デビューが出来ると思っていなかったですけど、子供から勇気をもらって本当に走れました。そこの公園を一周するのは２年ぶりです！ずっとジム内のマシーンでしか走れなかった。これは言葉だけで表現できない嬉しいスタートになった、このまま今年をずっとキープしたいです。

I would like to say thank you all for 2009 and whish you all a great
2010! I know it will be great year, all we have to do is want to make
it a good one, like in that movie about a baseball field, "if you
build it, they will come!" let's build it together!

Disney Sea !

Man it was crowded but we still managed to get some nice rides! About
a year ago or so they built this thing called the house of terror! And
it was absolutely terrible! Although we all got in it, two of my girls
nearly cried their hearts out, I a tually wonder about the age limit
for such a scary ride??? Eventually I convinced them all that they
survived the ultimate ride and that now there was nothingthat could
scare them? But I am sure they will never go on that thing again... Me
too...

昨日はこんでいたけど、それなりに楽しかったです！ミスティックリズム
は最高にかっこよかったですし、最後のハウス オブ テ
ラー？は最高に怖かったです。。。子供達は頑張って乗ったけど、最後の
大泣きはかわいそうだった。。。二度と乗らない約束しましたよ！この写
真はシンバッドの乗り物です、シンバッドの新キャラ、チャンドゥはやっ
ぱり可愛いよ！

Disney Sea !

This place is really different from Disney Land! Unfortunately there
are way too many people here, and it is taking up to three hours to
get on a ride...

今日は子供達とディズニーシーに来ているけど？人がいすぎて何時間も待
たないと乗れない感じです！本当はすごい楽しいところですけど？今日は
軽く散歩しかできないかも？

Gallaway golf wear !

Looks like they have started moving in a new direction, so they needed
strong looking model. And what can I say ? They picked me! I thought
the shoot went fine and we took some good pictures. It is always fun
to do jobs that are a bit different from what I normally do, and being
a big unit like I am I don't get a lot of model jobs! So I really
enjoyed this one, hopefully they like me and call me back for the next
seasons line too...

Santa Claus ride

It was a ride against Domestic Violence, somthing I want to support. So I joined in with 120 santa's riding around Tokyo to raise awareness about the cause!
