K-1 Fukuoka !

I am just watching the fights from K-1 Fukuoka, on the satellite channel 721. They show everything live and it is a great opportunity to see the fights, and feel like you are actually there at the arena. Apart from the fact that I have my own toilet and can go and grab drinks and snacks at my own convenience, I feel like I am there watching the event. :) Badr Hari just knocked out Glaube Feitosa! I have fought both of them and know how strong they are, but I would never have imagined that the fight would be over in the first round! I think Badr might go all the way this year, looking at the way he has been fighting lately he deserves it all the way. Oh, what am I saying, that is of course until he gets to face me again...

K-1 Turkey

Just got back from Turkey, and although we lost in the first round due to a big cut under the left eye, it was a really good trip. Koichi fought really well and everyone seemed to be cheering him on. In the 3rd. round the crowd were chanting his name! But in the extra round he got a knee to the side of his head and got cut badly. So although we lost the fight, I am sure that everyone there were pleased with his performance.

トルコから帰ってきました、ま～いろいろと大変だったけどいい勉強になったと思います。結果は一回戦ドクターストップでしたけど、一緒懸命頑張って何と３ラウンドでは会場内”Koichi~Koichi"コールが起きました！エキストララウンドでヒザが画面に軽くあだって４ｃｍほど切れましたので、ドクターはストップをかけました。本人は”先生！まだやりたいです！”をいいましたが、やはり危険すぎたので僕も止めました。初めての海外試合だったので、いろいろと勉強してもらってこれからもっと強くなると思います。久しぶりにWill　”Bambinaccio"　Riva選手にも会うことが出来ました。彼はいまイギリスに帰って地元で頑張ってます。仲がいいのでトルコで試合が決まったのを聞いて、すぐにチケットを買いました。本当は日本にもどって欲しいですけど、今仕事をやりながら将来のことを考えています。僕もあえてうれしかったです。よくネットではチャットをするけど、実際に会うのは楽しいです。

この二人は日本で３年も一緒に住んでいたので、本当の兄弟みたいなもんです。分かれるときもお互いに寂しそうでした。。。

それとクラウス選手も後輩を試合に出していましたので、仲良くなって一緒に写真をとりました。彼の後輩は負けたけどまだ１７歳でこれからきっと強くなるでしょう。。。

K-1 Yokohama !

この前の日曜日はK-1横浜大会を見に行きました。－１００KGクラスの試合は気になっていた、やっぱりバダ・ハリは強いです。カラエフ選手はすごく頑張ったと思います、でも最終的にはあのクラスでは一発で終わるときはありますから油断しちゃいけないです。見ててだけでいい勉強になりました。今年はK-1がかなり盛り上がると思います.今月は後輩の試合はありますのでちょっと宣伝します。

Last Sunday we all went to see the K-1 Yokohama fights. I was very interested in seeing how everybody would embrace the -100kg's class, and it was really great to see that the fans all seemed to find it a good thing. There were some real big upsets that just blew me away, LeBanner got dropped ! ? I am not sure what happened in that fight...But then Badr Hari and Ruslan got in the ring and the whole arena changed. It was a great fight, I must say that in the end Hari, got in one of the cleanest shot of the tournament and ended winning by K.O. after being dropped by a left hook. Anyway, some of my boys have got fights coming up this month and I thought that I would let you all know, if you have the chance and time then please come and watch.
