Samurai Spirit Kobudo

We started shooting on the part of Samurai Spirit, and this time it is all about the ancient art form of martial arts now called Kobudo. Having it's roots on the battle field, most of the techniques are based on true survival. Now the first part we shot last year about Kendo, was nominated at the international sports program festival in Milan and won a prize!

My private Tokyo

I shot on this program last time and this is a shot of me introducing my favorite indian restaurant in the whole world. Gara in Ikebukuro, the funny thing was that the chef has been working there for as long as I can remember and when asked what I order, he laughed and said that once about 5 or 6 years ago I order tandori chickien, but apart from that I have only ordered the butterchicken bowl for more than 10 years...And trust me when I say " It is good !"

この前の番組の収録は池袋で空手やインドカレー屋さんを紹介しました。本当に美味しいですけど、取材でニコラスはどんなものを食べるんですか？ってインド人は聞かれましたら、一度５～６年前にタンドリチキンを頼んだんだけど？この１０年間はバターチキンカレーしか食べたことがないです！でも、それはうまいから帆ｋのものは選らないです。。。本当に美味しいです。ガラっていう店なんですが、最近アメブロによく出ています。

The sky over Tokyo !

I took this shot fromthe roof of my gym, and although it does look
like much on this picture. It was so clear that mount Fuji seemed to
just out of reach, with the setting sun in the background it was
almost surreal standing there watching it.

ジムの屋上から写真をとったんですが、携帯のカメラはやはり物足りない
です。そこにたったときはすごいキレイだってので皆さんに見せたかっ
た！

Kumamoto fight night

I went down to Kumamoto to help out Samukawa at his fight. And
ofcourse he stayed true to his Champion belt and knocked out his
opponent in the second round! It was my first time to go to Kumamoto,
and although I kind of hoped to see something there, I want even there
for 24 hours! It was just one of those in and out jobs, get in do the
job and then go home... At least we won so it made up for it! Now I am
sitting in the airplane and just trying to get rid of my headacne by
downing my forth cup of coffee... It is going to be a long day today!

熊本は初めてなのに、来てすぐに帰るって言うのはちょっと寂しいです。
今飛行機なかでブログの更新しています。昨日は寒川直喜選手のセコンド
で熊本まで来ました、結果は2ラウンドでK.O.勝ちでした！
初めて熊本に来たので何かでも、面白いところまで行きたい気持ちでした
が、本当に24時間もいないので今回は試合と打ち上げで終わりで
す。。。しかも、今は飛行機の中でコーヒーを4杯めで何とかこの
頭痛いを直そうとしているけど、中々立ち直らないです。。。きっと今日
は長い一日になるんじゃない？

KRUSH Champion Nakajima !

Last night I was out helping the boys at the KRUSH tournament. It was
the final and of Nakajima won then it would secure him a spot in the
elimination tournament next year for the K-Max! He has had 10 fights
with 10 wins and 7 K.O. So although he was up against the Champion he
didn't give an inch and although it was one of the hardest fight of
the evening, he got the decision in the end after the last extension.
And was crowned Krush champion!

昨日は後楽園でクラッシュで中島君が優勝しました！本当にハードな試合
でしたけど、最後の延長で判定勝ちしました！おめでとうございます、さ
すが、バンゲリング ベイ スピリットのパワーです！

Puppys dining?

Do they eat dogs here? Or is it just a place where you can eat with
your dog? It's just another one of those funny Japanese/English names
for something? I have over the years seen quite a lot of different
ones that have been funny, but this one seems to go beyond that... I
hope they have some good coffee because I am about to go in!

Samurai underwear in Mitsukoshi

This was the recent press conference for the Samurai Pants in Mitsukoshi, my blue eyed samurai underwear have still not come off the drawing board. But next spring they should be available on the shelves of a certain sports store.
