Kind of day I would like to...

Just crawl back into bed and sleep it all away, I am on my way to a
meeting about the seminars that I am about to start. It is a
motivational speaking kind of seminar, where we go into detail on the
importance of having a good game plan. Sticking to it and then making
it happen, and then also what happens when it all goes wrong.

朝からこんな感じだと、ベットにもぐってはれるまで寝たいって感
じ。。。でも、今から新しくスタートするセミナーの打ち合わせに向かっ
てる。テーマは折れない心です、と戦略についての本格的なセミナーで
す！

FM YOKOHAMA Joy Ride !

So yesterday we started recording on my new radio show called, Joy
Ride! This is a picture of my assistant Sachiko, funny story about
her. I was shooting on a movie called "The Winds of God" a couple of
years ago in LA, and the scene we shot there was at a Japanese sushi
restaurant.
She actually played the waitress serving us some sake or green tea!
Well, I remembered the scene and the place, but was a bit vague on
having met her. But is was kind of nice to meet someone I had actually
worked with before. It served as a great ice breaker, and after having
auditioned three girls we aggreed on Sachiko being the one to help out
with the show! Yesterday we recorded the first two episodes and now it
is just about waiting until the 4. When they air it for the first
time! I hope the listerners will like it?

昨日はラジオの初収録でした、今まで三人をオーディ
ションをさせましたがが写真で映しているのは大手佐
智子です！実は佐智子とだいぶ前にロスで
"Winds of God"って言う映画の撮影で一緒になった事が
あって！その時は、寿司屋さんでのシーンで、佐智子
はお茶を入れるスタッフ役でした！本当にあれから
会ってないですので、まさか！ラジオの番組を一緒に
やると考えもしなかった、けど何かの縁ではないか⁉

Silver week is over

So I got back to Tokyo in the middle of the night, after having spent
10 hours on the highway and ridden more than 700km ! It was a long
haul this time, but the pleasure of sleeping in my own bed was worth
it all!

シルバーウイークが終って、青森から10時間以上の運転を乗り越え
て最後は自分のベットに寝れてなにより良かったです。とちゅうの40
キロの渋滞はいやになって、あきらめよかと思ったけど、自分のベットは
ラブコールを送ってたから頑張れた。。。

What is this thing?

So we just spent the last two days up here in Aomori, it is a place
famous for apples and seafoods. And then ofcourse it is the hometown
of my wife! Last night as the whole family was getting together we
stared talking about wierd fruits and things you can eat, when
suddenly grandma brought out this fruit! Just picked it out from the
back yard??? I don't even know what they call it? Neither have I ever
seen it before? It tasted ok until I started chewing on the seeds,
they were real nasty!

実家にきて、二日です！そして、昨日飲みながらドリアンの話しになっ
て、それからいろんなフルーツのはなしが出た中で？この写真で写ってい
るものがおばあさんが持ってきてくれた！
それこぞ？みた事ないフルーツです！タネ以外は美味しかったです！それ
よりも、今日東京に帰るけどすごいこんでいるんじゃないか？とかなり心
配です。。。

Travel with dog

I actually met a guy recently who has a company called "travel with
Dog", and until we got in the car with Tyson. I didn't realize how
hard it can be to travel around with your pet? It is kind of like
having a little baby to take care of. But at the same time it is also
bringing the while family together in a nice way! We all help out with
taking care of the little bugger!

土曜日の昼に出て、まずは那須高原に温泉に入って！ワイフの誕生日パー
ティーをやりました。
そして、仙台まで移動してドラッグレースを見に行きました。。。沢野さ
んvs.横田さんの対決は動画でとってありますので、パソコンの前
に座ったらアップします！そこから、東京まで360キロ？青森の実
家まで360キロ？どうする？タイソンはどうしても青森に行きた
かったので、昨日レースが終わった後に実家まで来てしまったよ！

I got on the wrong train and had to switch to a taxi,but that didn't mean I actually made it to Tokyo Station in time. Because as you can see on the video the streets are crowded too...




結果は10分遅れの電車に乗った。。。

Samurai Underwear & Smokers

I am going down to Osaka today, hopefully my meeting with the potential sponsor of my event SMOKERS will go fine, and before you know it. We will be up and running again, it is not easy to be a promoter but if the sponsor ship is good, then it is a lot of fun and a great opportunity for all the fighters. I am up way too early today, because I could not sleep. I have just found out that one of the projects I have been working on for quite some time, is going to bear fruit real soon and it just had my mind racing. I have told you all about the Samurai underwear that I was about to have made, well I have been able to sell them to a huge sports store in Japan. They have around 200 stores all over Japan and if things start taking off, then I will have my hands full with just that. It is great news and I am super exited about it, now I just can't wait to see what my actual "Blue Eyed Samurai" version of the pants is going to look like.

サムライパンツの話しはだいぶ前からしていると思いますが、やっと仕事として成立しました。ある大手スポーツストアーに入ることになりました。それで、昨日から興奮しすぎて寝れてないです、朝早く起きて一人でパソコンをいじっています。この後は運動してから、来週の岡山のイベントの打ち合わせの後に大阪に行きます。ここだけの話ですが、大阪の打ち合わせがうまくいけば！SMOKERSが今年に復活します！エベントはスポンサーさんがいれば立ち上がるんですけど、いなければものすごく大変です。ただし、うまくいくと自分たちも選手たちも本当に楽しいです、出来たらもう一回やりたいです。。。それより、真面目にパンツの話をまたしましたね！早く、蒼い目の侍バーションは見たいです/見せたいです！

Another Monday

Yes, we are back and it is Monday, I spent yesterday in Yokohama both rehearsing a radio show and auditioning a possible assistant. Today it is monday morning and I am up at the crack of dawn! Not because I so choose to, but because my youngest daughter woke me up really early. Well, I am going to take advantage of the situation and make my way to the gym, and get in some serious time on the treadmill and bike before lunch today. Did you see Allesio bowing his head to the telephone on the video that I uploaded yesterday? It is so funny to white boys doing that! I do it too, it just becomes a part of how you talk to people when living here.

また来たよ！月曜日の朝って、今日からこの一周が始まる。以外にやることがたくさんあります、行くところもたくさんあります。明日から大阪ですし、それと毎晩何か入っています。昼にも入っていますが、楽しみです。なぜかというと？仕事は大好きな僕は忙しくなりたいです。月曜日の朝の調子はけっこう大事です、元気良く起きるとその一週間はうまく行く気がします。今日はいつもより早く起きたっていうか？起こされた、今日から弁当があるから下の子は興奮しすぎて6時前に起きて。”まだ？”って何回も聞きに来た。。。可愛いですね！

久しぶりに英語のレポートです。。。

Back at the hospital !

Today I have an appointment at the hospital where I had my total hip
replacement done, just a little over a month ago...
It feels like I was here almost years ago! I guess that when I was
here I had created my own little world, and althought it was a small
and simple world. It was still a complete little world, I was content
to be here apart from the pain I had a lot of time to just be myself.
Today we are looking at my blood and also some xrays to see if things
are all where they should be.

写真は病院に来てから摂りました、そうです！今日は病院に戻って来まし
た！何と一ヶ月けんしんで、採血とレントゲンを見直す時期になった。ま
た、一ヶ月しか立ってないのに、ここに来てもう遠い昔な気持ちです！次
回は11月ですけど、今日は悩んでいることはそのとききっと違う。
本当に早いです、やっぱりオペして良かったです。

Radio and other things

I have quite a few irons in the fires right now, and sometimes it can be hard to tell which is going to catch fire first? But everything seems to be heading in the right direction, this afternoon I am going out to FM YOKOHAMA again and we will be rehearsing the opening of the show and also auditioning one other girl to see which one fits the program better. Then there is the Massage corporation that I help out with both some PR and of course we will try to open up a few new places both this year and next. In conjunction with that I am going to check out some sports clubs this afternoon that have asked me to help produce some fitness kickboxing classes. Yes, things are most definitely going in the right direction, now it is all about keeping all the pieces on the board.

ラジオのリハーサルは今日の午後にやります、この前と違うキャストで一度やってみたいとのことで今日は以前に紹介しました、ゆうかちゃん、がやってくると思います。後は自分で文書にしてみたオープニングのテイクもとるそうで、わくわくしています。今までやっていたテレビの仕事と違って、声オンリーでお客さんとの触れ合いになるのでどうなるのか？かなり楽しみです。毎回テーマを決めて持っているネタから話すって感じなので以外に始まればその30分番組はあっとういま終わっちゃう。その後はスポーツクラブを見に行きます、新しくフィットネスキッククラスをプロヂュースを頼まれたので一度見に行ってきます。いや、最近は楽しいですね。。。

マッサージ店の店長会議

I have recently become a PR advisor for a massage company called Hands
Corporation!

And today was the day of the groups annual cheif meeting, I was asked
to join in and give them all some fighting power. But I ended up
getting the power from them all, and in the end they can all give you
a great massage! I think this is the best buisness I have been
involved in so far.

昨日から名古屋にいる理由は、ハンズコーポレーションの店長会議で店長
達に気合いをいれるためですが。。。

みんなの前に立った瞬間、パワーをすごく感じました。人間のふれあいの
頂点に立っているメンバーばかりです。頭のなかでは、素直、純粋、正
直、他にもたくさんな気持ちが表しました、本当にいい空気でした。これ
からもいい付き合いが出来ると感じています。

まさか、新幹線をのりながらＵＦＯは見れたんですか？？？

Mondays...

I guess that everytime you get to a Monday it is kind of like starting all over again, I got up like usual and wanted to go for some rehab...When I found out that the battery on my Harley had died on me! There is seriously nothing worse than when things go wrong on a Monday morning, I ended up taking the car and spending all morning on just getting back and forth from the gym and going to the bank...Like that Carpenters song says it so right, " Rainy days and Mondays always gets me down" Well, at least it is a real nice day and summer is still full on, I managed to get in some running today, but nothing much I would like to brag about. My leg is either getting better or worse cannot tell the difference on a Monday morning!

月曜日はいいスタート切りたいところですが。。。朝ランニングに行こうと思ったときにハーレーのバッテリーは死んだと分かったときから、いろんな話は出てきた。。。いや～、ニコラスでも面白くない月曜日ってあるんですね！どこかでいい話は欲しいな～！とりあえず今日もジムで少しですが走れました、マシーンの上で何とか頑張りました。それと、まだまだ夏ですね？悪い話はあればどこかで絶対にいい話もあるはずです。今週は今始まったばかりですので、きっとこれ以上に良くなるでしょう？さ、頑張るぞ～！

I-phoneからもバイリンガルのアップができるんですね！　前は出来なかったけど、これでだいぶ楽になったよ。。。なんで今まで出来なかったのか？分からないけど、今日は普通にアップしました。後は電話から動画の直接のアップがでいると本当に楽になります。。。

Yesterday I went to the opening party and ceremony for a sumo room! It
was a brand new place built just for the sumo wrestlers, it was in a
whole different scale than when we open up a dojo! I also got some
footage from when the Grand Champion, Yokozuna Hakuhou did the Dohyo
Iri. A ceremony to bless the ring, but I need to get to my computer
before I can get the link on my blog.

Some thoughts on life...

Well, good morning everyone. I have had to make a serious decision lately, I don't know if any of you have been watching the comments posted on my site lately? Well, I could not understand them and felt kind of threatened, so I had them all hidden and now no one can post comments any more.
I don't know why I had been targeted for such political views and attacks? When this blog is everything but political? It is my first time to encounter such a thing and feel it is kind of sad, to have had to deal with it in such a way. I know that everything in life is not either right or wrong, but here is my view on the world.
Make everyday count in your life, and treat everyone around you as you would have them treat you.
Do good things and good things will come back to you.
I have no opinion on religion because I am not a believer, although I do sometimes pray. I do believe that somewhere we are all good people and that if given the choice we all choose right, but I am also not blind or ignorant of what really goes on in the world. I believe that the world is such a big place that it would be impossible for everyone to be or act the same, it would also not be fair to all the great cultures of the world.
We are now able to transcend borders and cultures because of the Internet, but that does not mean we should loose our back bones. Rather we should cherish our culture and be proud of what we have. I also believe that we all do not or cannot choose where we are born, therefore I feel that as we grow up we are able to choose for ourselves where we want to live, what we want to eat, who we share our lives with, what we believe in and what language we speak.
I have been all over the world and met many people from many different cultures, but as I grew up the choices in my life led me to get married and live in Japan. I embrace the culture here and speak the language, not because I don't prefer Danish or Denmark but because it is where I have chosen to live. And in making that choice I feel it important to become one with the country. I have written many things here this morning, and the are many more things that I would like to write about, but this entry is getting real long, so let me just finish off by wishing you all a great day today, and make it count in the sea of endless days that tend to blur into each other.
Today I am going to challenge myself just a little bit more than I did yesterday, and that is how I make it count. I thank you all for taking the time to read this and hope that you understand my choices in life as much as I have tried to explain them here.
