I had Sherif bring my bike over to his shop and now we are going to have do some work on it in order to pass the Shaken. Shaken in Japan is like a road clearance test that allows your vehicle to ride on the street for a period of two years.

この前はバイクを川崎から練馬まで運んでもらって、そこでこれから車検を通さないといけないのです。僕は普段でもあのバイクを乗りたいですけど、今のままでは無理です。。。マフラーの騒音は半端じゃないです！

IRON MAN

Last night I watched Iron Man in my bed, my friend in San Francisco sent me a whole bunch of movies and it was amongst them. So I crawled in my bed and just chilled with a good movie, and I actually liked it !

昨日は疲れがたまっていてベッドの中に入って映画をみました。SFから友達がいろんな映画を送ってくれた中でアイロンマンが入っていましたので、昨日それを選んでゆっくりしました。かなり面白かったです。

New projects in the workings...

I started working on a couple new things, just this Monday I hooked up with a famous hat maker called shigematsu hats. And we are planning on making a cool hat under my brand "Blue Eyed Samurai", I am not going to reveal what it is going to look like at this moment, but it will be too cool. Or at least I am hoping it will be too cool! The shot is from our kids class at the Factory.

最近ホームページは動いていなかったときにいろんな新しいプロジェックトが始まりました。月曜日に重松帽子さんと”青い目のサムライ”っていう僕のブランドの帽子のデサインの打ち合わせをしました。大分前からこのブランドを立ち上げたくっていろんな方に相談しましたけど、まさか帽子から始まると思わなかったです。でも、打ち合わせをしていると早く実のものをみたいです、自分はそうぞうをしている帽子は絶対にかっこいいです。写真は全然関係ないけど、Factoryの子供クラスからです、可愛いから見せたかっただけです。

All you gotta do is pay the bill !

I remember what happpened last time, and it was the same all over again this time. Except that this time they put me right back up here after less than 24 hours of being able to deal with them. I am going to change the mail address so I can get the notice properly, this time they had sent it to an address that I don't use anymore...so it makes it kind of hard to get the notice.

意外と速かったです、昨日の昼から頑張ってやり取りをしましてから、２４時間以内でまたアップできました！会社のメールは全部止まってしまったのでかなり大変でした。次回はいつも使っているメールアドレスに通知が届くようにしないとまた来年のこのごろ同じことが起きるんじゃないか。。。

I forgot to pay the bill

I guess this happens every couple of years when I forget to pay the bill ! Now my site is going to be down and out for about a week or so...it really sucks !

またやってしまった！ドメインの更新料を払うの忘れて。。。最悪ですね！前回もそうでしたそれでサイトは動いていないのは本当にきついです！頑張って早く直します。

What is going on ?

I have been gone for two days, but that has nothing to do with why I can't find my website???
I tried just about everything, but I can't find it? My server says that there is nothing wrong with it but it is just not there???

この二日間はずっと北海道に行きましたけど、確かに僕は東京から離れたけど、それはネットと関係ないでしょう？僕のホームページはどこに行ってしまった？？？サーバーは問題ないというっているけど？皆さん見れますか？僕のホームページ？

One big family

Today Hirukawa from Nitta's gym Bungeling Bay is moving in at the Factory, so we spent most of the morning getting his room in order. He just went out to get his dog? I think he is bringing in a little thing that runs around and bites everyone...

今日から新田さんのジムから蛭川君はFactoryのほうに引っ越ししてきます、選手として頑張りたくってこれからみんなで合同練習や合宿をやりますので、きっとみんな強くなると思います。今さっきまでいろんなものを運んでいたけど、蛭川君は犬をとりに行くって？言ってました。。。どんなワンが来るのかな~楽しみだね！

Today is hopefully going to be the day Koichi finally gets to strap that Champion belt around his waist! We are all going to support him in Yoyogi Dai-2 Taikukan, just around the corner from Harajuku station. He is fighting for the champion belt in M-1 Muay Thai rules fight. If you have time and interest why don't you come over and support us!

今日はコウイチがチャンピョンベルトを腰に巻く！M-1の初めてベルトに挑戦するけど、かれは本当に一緒懸命練習をしてきたし。モチベーションは最高に高いです、私たちみんな応援に行きますがよかったら代々木第二まで来てください。僕はジムで運動してから行きます。

It is high time...

I know that I have been real busy lately, but that is not about to stop me from doing what I have set my self out to do. I gained too much weight over the holidays and it is time to cut down. I went up to about 110kg's and that is totally out of control. It has been hard to say no when you are out a lot, and it kind of seems rude not to drink with everyone else. I have not been much motivated to cut down, but now it just feels wrong not to get going again. I am at 107.5 this morning, but that is still about 10 kg's too much. So I am going to take it one small step at a time, and hopefully I will get there soon enough.

さ～もういいかげんに体重を減らさないといけないです。１１０キロまで行ったけど、すごし我慢をして今日は１０７．５キロ。それでも大体１０きろオーバーです。。。忘年会シーズンから始まったけどお正月までずっと太り続けた。しかし、ここでそんな話をしてしまうとやるしかないよね？毎日少しでも努力すれば減らせるんだろうけど、いまのままは本当によくないです。

Shiitake Hot Pot

Yep, yesterday I finished shooting on the NHK program called "Delicious Nippon", we were on location in a very old house. Sitting around the old traditional style BBQ inside, we enjoyed a nice hot pot of Japanese mushrooms. Simple dish made just from miso and shiitake. It was really nice, I wish I had more time to just sit down and eat it all, but the camera's were rolling and we needed to talk about how it tasted. I am looking forward to the next program where I will be going on location to Kobe! Yes, that is where the famous Kobe Beef is from, and that is exactly what I will be introducing.

シイタケ鍋、この時期には最高ですよ！外は寒くって家に帰ると家族でも友達でもおいしいシイタケ鍋は楽しめる、もちろん昨日は番組の収録だったからお酒は飲めなかったですけど、あの雰囲気でお酒は絶対に会うと思いました。冷たいビールでも熱い酒でも、なんとなくテレビのCMに出てきそうな雰囲気でした。まさに日本のおいしいものを外国の方に知ってもらう番組ですので、その通りに伝わったではないか？来月は神戸に行きます！そうですよ、日本で育っている世界的に有名な最高級牛肉を紹介します。外国では神戸ビーフっと言うったら、すぐに鉄板焼きのイメージがわきますけど、炭火焼や生で食べたいですね。。。あ～考えるだけで口の中はよだれがたまってくる。。。

It is kind of cold

I had to get out of bed like every other day of the week, but for some reason this morning was really cold. I understand that it is winter, but that doesn't make it any easier to get out of bed...My girls start school at about 8:15, so I gotta get them out of bed by 7:40 at the latest if they are to make it in time. I remember when I went to school back in Denmark, I also started at around 8:00, but most of the schools I went to were kind of far away and I had to ride my bicycle. In Japan you are not allowed to ride your bicycle to school, so you either walk or get dropped off. My kids school is about 4~5 min. walk from the house and that is not a big deal.

いや、今日はいつもみたいに朝起きなきゃいけなかったですが、なぜか今朝は寒かったです。冬は寒いに決まっているって言いたいだろうけど、それでも寒いよ！子供たちは学校に間に合うように最低で７：４０に起こさないと間に合わないです。昔々自分はまだ学生の時代がありました、それはデンマークでした。学校までいつも自転車で通っていたけど日本では自転車置き場ないので歩いて行くしないです、子供の学校は近いので問題ないけど、自分は５~６キロはなれていた学校に通っていたので毎日いい運動になっていた。そして、今日はNHKのシイタケのスタジオ収録があります、何で今日も”森の流れ星”をおいしく食べま~す。

LDY僕の知り合いのブランドですが、かならハイエンドですが、ものは本当にかっこいいです。今回はイメージポスターとお店の前や中でいろんな写真をSimen　Kjellinにお願いして撮ってもらいました。Simenはノルウィーのカメラマンですが、今回日本にDynamiteを取材しに来まして。おまけに僕とBobといろんなところで写真を撮ってもらいました。

Finished shooting

Although we almost finished shooting on the Bob Sapp Show, we still managed to get in some serious footage. Tsuboi came over to the gym and we had a good session with Bob and Emeka.

撮影はほとんど終わったけど、最後はジムで日本ハムの坪井選手との合同練習をしました。坪井選手はもう４年前から毎年ジムに来るようになって、オフの時はきて一緒に格闘技をやらせています、やっぱり一流のアスリートはセンスがあって覚えるのは早いです。できたら一度リングに上がって欲しいですけど。。。それはないな～

Winter Sports Festa

Today I took Bob Sapp out to the Winter Sports Festa in Odaiba! We had a guest appearance where Bob ended up loosing some arm wrestling matches against some of the people from the audience. It was just a short thing, but something I had set up for him and I to give the Travel Channel some content. It turned out pretty good, I translated and played along with it all and Bob Built up the excitement. I guess it was perfect with today's weather because it was really cold out today and that should inspire people to get right into the whole winter mood.

今日はこの前から打ち合わせしていたTravel Channelの番組撮りが始まった、まず朝から仕事関係の打ち合わせ風景のあとにお台場で。Winter Sports Festaに顔を出して、ステージの上でミニトークショーをして、ボブはお客さんと腕相撲大会をしました。今日は冬のキャンペーンにぴったりの天気でした、本当に寒い中で会場をあっためてくれたんじゃないか？：）

I was too busy today...

I didn't have enough time to just sit down in front of the computer today, I was fully engaged in meetings and driving around from place to place. It is good to feel busy again, although it can get a bit stressful. I have a few projects in the workings right now, like yesterday I met up with a girl that writes her own cartoons. She is really talented and we have worked once together before, and last time I met her we spoke about the kids book that I have written. I told her that I cannot draw for the love of God, and that I had been wanting to collaborate with someone on this project. So yesterday I hit the nail a bit harder and we spoke in details about this. I am very exited about the project because it is something I have been wanting to get done for quite some time now. Yes, you didn't read wrong, I have written a kids book and we are about to get the illustrations done so we can sell it.

昨日は朝からいろんな人にあってたくさん話をしました、けど一番面白かった打ち合わせは何と絵描きの若い女の子とのことでした。僕は一度昨年一緒に仕事をしましたけど、その時は自分が書いた子供本の絵が描けなくって困っていることを話したら。私なら書けます、是非チャンスを下さいとのことでした。そして昨日はそのつめた話をしました。やっぱりアーチストとの発言は違います、きっといい本になると思います。あ～そうです、今の話は真剣です。僕は本当に書いたんです、自分でキャラクター全部考えて。ストーリーを自分の子供に試して面白かったからちゃんとした文章にしてみました。それがまさか今年本当の本になるものならすごい嬉しいです。皆さんも応援して下さい。

Couldn't write in Japanese yesterday

I tried to make an entry in Japanese like I always do, but since I was using a different browser I couldn't get through. And now my menu bar or start up bar that is normally on the bottom is stuck on the right side of my computer??? And I have no idea of how to click it back down to where it normally rests at the bottom. I got a question about when all the TV shows I am shooting will air...but it is all for outside of JP, kind of sad I know but at least it keeps me going. I have two regular posts on NHK overseas channels, Delicious Nippon and Samurai Spirit. The program we are shooting on this weekend is for the Travel Channel in US, it is a teaser as to what it would be like to follow Bob Sapp around. He is trying to get them interested in me as well so we can work it together, I would love to work on a reality show even more so if I get air time in the US. So let's see where it takes us.

昨日のBlogはいつも使っているネットブラウザーじゃなかったため日本語の文書は書けなかったです！しかも、パソコンの画面の一番下にあるスタートアップバーが急に右側のほうに今立っている？クリック＆ドラッグでは動かないので？どうなっていますかね？そうだ、何で僕が出ているテレビ番組は日本で見れないですか？っていう質問されました。それは残念ながら全部海外向けの番組ばかりです。。。NHK海外版のDelicious Nippon（おいしい日本）とサムライ・スピリットではレギュラーですが、今週末ボブととるのはアメリカ向けのトラベル・チャンネルの前振りの収録です、ボブ・サップは日本でこんなことをやっています。こんな人と会っているとか、世界中で最もはやっているリアレティー番組っていうものです、それに青い目のサムライニコラス・ペタスを紹介してこの番組を盛り上げたいとのことです。自分の将来の夢はそこにあるので、是非アメリカで顔を売ってもらいたいです。ま、本当にシリーズになったら面白い話だろうけど、今回は一発目ですので頑張ってやりたいです。

Straight forward!

I wrote on my Japanese blog yesterday that I want to litterally run straight forward this year, nothing is going to stop me in getting to my goals. And true to my word I was working all day today, had to get up early and take care of a friends visa application, then a photo shoot in the afternoon and a meeting in the evening about a TV show that Bob and I are doing together on the weekend. 

Back in the Grinder

Back to work today, I had to get up early this morning to catch the train. It takes about 4 hours and a bit to make it all the way back here, and like all other trips I have been on I always feel refreshed and Tokyo looks a bit different coming back. The traffic doesn't seem too heavy and even the air feels a bit better. My office feels like home and sitting here in front of my computer in own chair feels good. The new years starts here right now, and I am up for it!

今朝の６時の電車に乗って、青森から東京に帰ってきた。たった何日間でこんなに気持ちは変わるんですね？込んでいる東京はいつもより広く感じている、気持は前向きです今年はたくさんやりたいことがあります。今日ここで自分の小さなオフィスの中で自分のパソコンの前に座って、アットホームな気分で皆さんと会話している自分は安心感があります。今年は今始まった、チャンスをもらってまっすぐ走るんだ。それは今年のテーマです、 前すぐ走ることです。

Aomori !

My wife is from a small town in Aomori, which is located about 4 hours north of Tokyo on the bullet train. I made my way up here after Bob's fight and for the first time in more than 10 years it was raining when I got here! I know that I spoke about the changes in weather this season, but this was a serious shock. It was not even cold and I had expected it to be real cold and that everything was covered in the white blanket of snow. In stead it was just raining and wet, there is snow but now enough to ski! I am going to try and help the world in my small contribution to reduction of Co2 gas, because I think we are on a serious down fall.

今嫁の実家にいます、青森県の小さな町ですが、10年以上来ているけど今回はなんと電車から降りたら。雨！本当に、雨が降っていました。寒くないし、これって前にも何回も話しているけど、もしこれは地球温暖化のせいであれば私たちが思っている以上にひどいです。今まで冬で来たときは雪がきれいにつもっていたけど、昨日はシャーツだけで外で遊んでいた。本当に大丈夫かな～と考える。僕も今まで以上に頑張ってリサイクルに心かけたいです。

A fresh new start

I always feel like this at the beginning of a new year, it feels good to start a fresh. I know that most people spent the last month of Dec. telling everyone that they need to tie up all the loose ends and get ready for the new year, but it might not always be so. I feel that all the foot work I put in last year will bear fruit this year. So I am exited about getting started, I can't wait to get out there and follow up on all the projects I engaged in last year. So this is not just a fresh new start, it is a continuous trip that shall keep me pushing towards the goals I have set myself.
There are immediate goals and then there are some goals that might take time to get to, but life everything else in my life it has always been about the journey getting there.

さ～今年は始まりました、僕はわくわくしています。大体１２月は今までやっていたことをふた閉める作業に入っていたと思いますが。僕は去年まいた種は今年立派な花になるようにがんばりたいです。だから気合が入っています、その自分の中で決めているゴールは目の前にあるゴールとまだまだ遠くにあるゴールはたくさんありますけど。すぐ手に入るゴールはうれしいけど、その終点に行く道なりは僕が好きです。だから遠くにあるゴールをどうやって手に入れるのかを悩まさせられている自分は好きです。２００９は牛年牛は力を持つ、闘争心は誰にも負けられない心を持つ立派なものです、しかも食べればおいしい、：）僕は牛の闘争心を見習って今年は全開でまっすぐ走りたいと思います。
