I was on the beach teaching Karate just two days ago, and today I would not even consider taking my bike to work...It is that cold now. and that means the Sakura blossom is going to be delayed even a bit longer, but that is not a bad thing because the longer one can enjoy it the better. This is what a the whole tree should look like!

日曜日茅ケ崎の浜辺で空手！なのに今日の寒さは何ですか？バイクは今日乗りたいと思わなかったです。。。これでうちの周りのサクラまだまださかないです、でも、それはそんなに悪い話じゃないです。なが～くさくらを楽しみめるのではないか？きれいな桜はこんなきれいになる。。。

Beach Karate

Long Sunday

I started off by driving out to Chigasaki and taught a karate class on the beach! it was a small class of half kids and half grown ups, but we all got to work out good and I really enjoyed it. I had not expected to be able to actually do a class on the beach in the season, but the weather was just perfect for it. Then I drove back home and dropped the car off and made my way over to the Korakuen, Koichi was going to fight in TITANS, against a Iranian fighter. He was prepared for it but it still turned out to be a real tuff fight, He was in trouble in the second round taking too many shots, but in the 3 rd. round he dropped him and totally dominated the fight. It was all a fight should be, hard , tuff, long and then finally victorious!

昨日昼に茅ヶ崎にある林スポーツのイベントで僕はビーチ空手を教えることになった、こんな時期に浜辺で空手は大丈夫かなーと思ったけど、本当に最高の天気ですごい気持ちよかったです。ほとんど親子の参加者だったですけど、子供たちはすごくまじめで本当に教えやすかったです。なかなかいい空手はできました、夏あたりにまたやるかも？その時は砂のほうが熱いかも？その後、後楽園に行ってＫｏｉｃｈｉの試合をサポートしていました。外国人の相手で今まで勝ったことないので、どうなるかと思ってけど。ハードな２ラウンドの後に③ラウンドにダウンをとって判定で勝ちました！やっぱりＭ－１のチャンピョンとしていい試合をしてくれました、次回はタイトルマッチをお願いしますっとマイクパフォーマンスもしました。：）なかなか、楽しい一日でした！

Hanami season is coming

just around now all the Sakura trees are about to Bloom and that is the official announcement that spring is here. The cold season is passing over and warmer times are coming. It is tradition that everybody gets together for good times under the Sakura trees. I hooked up with a bunch of friends and we all ended up in a friends house, and watched the K-1 on TV. This is not me in the picture but I was up there way before him...:)

花見シーズンは始まったとは言え。。。昨日はちょっと早かったですけど、気持はたっぷり楽しんだ。砧公園でみんな大暴れして、子供は走りまわる、大人は木登り。。。さすが花見でした！これは、僕じゃないけど、セインさんより先に登ったよ：）

One day trip to Sendai

Went back up to Sendai yesterday, it was a supposed to be a quick one afternoon thing...But I ended up spending a bit more time up there than I had expected. I was all right though, I got a chance to talk to the producers again and they actually wanted to use me on some of their other shows. I am going back up there next month for the race, and it would be nice to see them film us all and come out and make a full report of the race. It is funny how once you start to know someone in the industry that things which seemed impossible suddenly becomes reality. I am sure I will be doing a lot more work with those guys on KHB.

昨日はまた仙台に行ってきた、裏影の映像をもらって今日アメリカのプロデューサーにだします。本当にそのためタイから日本まで来て今日の午後にアメリカに帰る。それは一番安心ということであれば僕の仕事は今回で終わりです。でも、仙台のＫＨＢさんのプロデューサーと会っていろんな話しができたので行ってよかったです。これからはバイクのレースをレポートしてくれるとのことでいい話はできたと思います。

I have been going through a lot of my old files recently, because I am trying to put together a file for this new project I am doing. And it turns out that there are some really cool shots here and there, this was when I won the K-1 Japan GP, as you can see I am looking kind of happy there...

最近古いファイルを出していろいろ見ている、僕の新しいプロジェックトに必要で、久しぶりに古い写真を見るのは楽しくってしょうがないです。。。これはチャンピョンになったときの格闘技雑誌。かなり嬉しそう。。。

It was a long grey day

It was a really cold day today, I was up early and working out but it still never chased the cobwebs away. It was like living in the grey zone all day, I actually ended up just doing whatever. There are those days even for me, and I guess that we all need those days? But after spending about 3 or 4 hours in front of the computer, I realized that I needed to go and work out. I know that I told you about my plans to go on a diet...well, the one real diet I know that works is actually to work out, so that is what I have been doing lately. It is hard work but better to start later than never, and I have started now and that makes me feel better. I don't know if I will ever make the almost impossible goal that I have set myself, but I am going to try and get there. Well, just before I walked in to teach the Karate at Gold's Gym tonight, Remy Bonyaski was working out getting ready for his fight against Alister Overeem on Saturday night! It was awesome to see a real K-1 Champion working out in the same gym as me... I wish I had a fight to get ready for...?

今日は本当に寒かったです！自分はこういう日もあっていいじゃか？一日グレイゾーンにいた気分です？結局一日好きなことばかりやりました。。。運動は朝からやったけど眠気いは取れなくって何と久しぶりに昼寝しました！本道だよ！でも、昼寝をしてもなかなか目が覚めない。。。夕方は寒いと思いながら自転車でＧＯＬＤ’Ｓ　ＧＹＭまで走って、それからまだ自転車をこきました。空手はかなり盛り上がったけど、稽古は始まる前に。。。土曜日でＡｌｉｓｔｅｒ　Ｏｖｅｒｅｅｍと試合するレミーチャンピョンは来ていて、最後の試合までの練習していました。いや～本当のＫ－１チャンピョンの練習姿はカッコイです。もっと見たかったけど、自分たちのクラスは始まるっていうことで上がりました。。。さすが、チャンピョンです！頑張ってほしいですね・・・

What a dream !

I had the weirdest dream last night, I actually dreamt that I met George Lucas and we spoke about making another STAR WARS movie...But I needed to loose some weight if I wanted to play the grandson of Anakin Skywalker...It was awesome, I am so for loosing some weight today, I have been on a diet these last two weeks because I just let it go and it has been feeling bad to be this heavy. I knew something was wrong when I hit the 111kg mark! Yep, it is that easy for me to gain weight, and once over 110 I really feel it. But today and yesterday my weight has been stable at 106.6kg so that is a good thing. I am about to hit the gym and just go for it on that elliptical running machine!

昨日は夢の中でジョージ　ルーカス監督に会った！それでスターウオーズの新作に出演してもらいたいけど。。。このままだと駄目って言われたよ。体をしぼってくれたら使ってあげるという話になって、今からジムに行って本当にやせる気満々！最近は１１キロまで体重はあがてしまったから、さすがに気分悪いいです。でもこの二週間で頑張って何と今朝の体重は１０６．６キロです、それは５キロダウンです。でも本当になりたい体重は９０キロ！そんなの出来るもんかな～、分からないけど少なくっても今日はやせる気満々で今からジムに行きます！

Back in Tokyo

The weather is nice, but the wind is really strong. I got up early today to get a nice fresh start on the week, and after I spent a couple of hours in the gym I feel ready to take on the world. It is a nice day and spring time is coming in through the open window, I feel good about being up and about and that is always a good sign. I can almost feel something good about to happen. I guess it has something to do with the law of attraction, people have been raving about it for centuries and I have been living it my whole life. Today is just another chance to send out some awesome vibes and get on with it.

東京に戻ってきて、日曜日はゲームとラーメンばかりだったので、今朝起きて思い切り運動してから今会社でパソコンの前に座って！なぜか分からないけどすごいやる気を感じます、春がやってくるおかげで元気です。自分はこういうときに何かいいことが起きそうな予感がする。。。前回今予感があったときテレビのドラマが決まったけど、まさかそんな話はないでしょう？とにかく自分のやる気とそのやる気の受け皿は磁石みたいに近ずく力っていうのは何なんですか？絶対に世の中にその力はあると思います。さてさて、このやる気は誰が受け取ってくれるの？

It was a long night !

Last show for Urakage and it is all over, everyone have had a great time doing the show and I feel very happy to have met everyone. They are all great, all the comedians are good friends and having a good time in Japan is more serious business than most people realize. We all went out for the finishing party and had a great time, and once the drinks started flowing the laughter didn't stop. I have made another pack of friends in a place I had not expected and now I feel very at home here in Sendai, but the fun and games is all over now and I need to make my way back to Tokyo.

お疲れ様でした！本当にお疲れ様です、昨日は裏影祭に読んでもらって本当にうれしかったです。まさか仙台にもう一つの家族ができると思わなかったですけど、今は本当にそんな気持ちです。裏影軍団は最高ですみんな仲が良くって、若くってすごい楽しいメンバーです。正直これは最後って言うと本当に寂しいと思う、もし復活ができるならもう一回裏影軍団と面白いテレビやりたいです！本当にお疲れ様でした！

Up early in the morning...

It was kind of cold this morning, it had been raining all night and I had to get up on my bike before 7 A.M. to make my way over to Tokyo Station. 1 hour and 30 min. later I arrived at Sendai. I was going to help out at the final cut of the program Urakage, the same show I brought Todd Newton up for last week. Today I ended up having to fight 10 comdians in a row ! It was hilarious, some of them came out 100 miles an hour, while others just dressed up as Sumo wrestlers or even Marilyn Monroe!

仙台で今日は裏影の最終の番組を祭り風にして駅前の百点の屋上でリングを入れて、女子プロレスから自分のニコラスＶｓ．芸人の１０人組み手。かなり面白かったです。みんなはやっぱり芸人で本当に体も心もはってやっているので、そう簡単じゃなかったです。思った以上にみんな頑張ったので自分も疲れました。さすがに、大デブのマリリンがでてきた時はどうしょうかと思ったけど、一発でおわらしました！

Looking at some of my old stuff!

Check out what I found in my old files...I didn't know I still had that! It is the original membership card I was giving when I first came to Japan. That is 18 years ago! Can you believe it? I can't hardly believe it myself, time has flown by me without noticing. I guess that when you are busy and have a lot of things to do, there just never seems to be enough time to just hang out a bit. I have had a roller coaster of a life here in Japan, and the ride is far from over yet. I am not quite sure where I will end up in the next few years, now that my life is turning in the direction it is I still have a lot of things to look forward to.

まさかこんなのは昔のファイルから出てくると思わなったです！来日してすぐに作った極真会館の会員カードです、いや～若い若いって感じ、でも本当に若かったです。１８歳で来たので、しかも７２ｋｇでした。本当に別人です、自分でこの写真を見ても別人にしか見えないです。あれからもう１８年が過ぎました。。。あっと言う間にこの１８年は今振り返ってみるとどこに行ったのって感じです、忙しかった時期とけがした時期、誰も僕のことをしらいない時期、すごい有名な時期。。。幸せと不幸な時期、簡単にいえば１８年間で子供から少しですが大人に成長し続けたのは英語で言うとgrowing up を日本でしました。今は自分の人生は向いている方向はちょっとですけど変わっているのでこれから何年後に何をしているのかは分からないけどそれは、Growing upの楽しみです。

昨日ネットでいろんな写真を探していたら、訳わからないところからこんなお出てきた。。。でも、それはそれでよかったです、ある新しいプロジェクトのために古い写真を探していたので助かりました。

Dog is on its way

My kids don't know that we are picking up a dog today! But yesterday we bought the cage and put everything up in the living room, and the first thing they all did was put the toy dogs in there. My youngest daughter loves dogs and I am sure she will love the dog. I think I am going to call him Tyson! But we are going to have to figure that out later on today, for now I am going to take my bike out for a spin.

今日は沖縄からミニピンチャーが届きます！うちの子供たちはまだ何も分かっていない：）昨日はこの写真で写しているかごを買ったけど、すぐに持っているぬいぐるみの犬を入れて遊んでいた。今日の朝からもそれでずっと遊んでいるので可愛くってしょうがない！ヒヒヒ、その前に今日はアメリカの番組のカメラマンとバイクでドライブ。。。

It was a long week

It was a long week, but it was a really good week. I still can't get over the fact that we are all done, I knew I was going to miss them all once it was over. But I might be able to hook up with most of them tomorrow, and that should be cool. We all worked so hard to make it all right in such a short time, and it creates a great feeling when things go right. We are all working together in such a cool invironment that once it is over, I always feel empty. It is not even close to being the first time to feel like this. And I am sure it is not going to be the last time, but that is just how the buisness is, and I am going to have to work harder to be able to work with them all again.

Odaiba

There is a man made Island out on the bay of Tokyo called Odaiba, and it is a really cool place. The sand on the beach has been transported all the way up from Okinawa, and the Rainbow Bridge is just in view. On a nice day the place is just amazing, and it was a nice day yesterday. We were out there shooting at the muscle park and although it was all fun and games, it actually ended up being quite hard too. I didn't know that we had to actually work out too on the program, but we played it up good and Todd and I had a great time together. I am really looking forward to seeing the program once it is all put together.

お台場で昨日撮影しました、天気はいいとお台場は本当に最高なところです。Ｔｏｄｄさんは本当にたのしかったです、二人でマッスルパークで大暴れしました。あれはただの遊びじゃないです、昨年僕の生徒さんはそこで肉離れをして救急車で運ばれたことがあって自分も同じような経験はないようにちゃんと体を暖めました。けど、頑張れば本当に暑くなる、精神的にも：）

What an awesome train !

It just sat there parked at the train station up in Sendai, when we were all on our way back here. I have never seen a Shinkansen like that before, it is just awesome looking. Like it is just about to take off for outer space or something.

こんな新幹線があったの？僕は見たことなかったのでびっくりしました。あれは飛行機というかロケットでしょ？本当に久しぶりに電車を見て感動しました。

Made it back to Tokyo

We all came back from Sendai last night, and then we decided to go out for a nice dinner. It is awesome to be working with such a great crew, I mean I feel totally in awe of them all. They have worked and produced a lot of the TV shows that I have seen on TV, so to actually be able to work with them is an honor. I am thinking that this might lead to other things in the future and that would definitely be a dream come true for me. I love the way they all are able to work together as a team and at the same time have enough surplus to have fun while doing it.

昨日スタッフとみんなで東京に戻りました、それで夜の撮影はなかったのでみんなでご飯を食べに行きました。日本に似来て楽しくってしょうがないです。初めてのことばかりで僕はいろんなことを案内しています、今回自分の役割はかなり幅広いです。プロデューサー、出演者、通訳とコーディネーターです！でも、昨日みんなとご飯を食べながら今まで作った番組の話を聞いてみたら、チャーリーズ・エンジェルズとかいろんな大物映画から僕はよくスカパで見ている番組の話は出ました。いや～本当にすごい人たちです。木曜、金曜日はまだ一緒ですので頑張ってアメリカに顔が知られるように！

Still in Sendai

It was a ball last night, we shot for the show "Game On" and Todd Newton was just hilarious. He walked onto the set without knowing what to expect, and totally blasted everyone away. I thought he performed better than anyone had expected him to, and am actually really glad to have been able to work with him and everyone on the crew. It is an honor to work with such talented people, and I am honestly glad to say that we still have 4 more days of shooting together. Today we are just filming a couple of scenes and then some inserts, so I had time to get a good breakfast and a nice couple cups of coffee.

昨日はの収録は夜中までかかりましたけど、本当に感動しました。やっぱり日本の芸人はすごいと思いました。トッドさんはいきなり仙台空港に着いてからセットに入って、右も左も分からないのにみんなと思いっきり楽しんでくれた。僕も現地のみんなもトッドさんの一所懸命頑張っている姿を見て感動したと思います。今回のスタッフも本当に最高です、みんなは仲良くなって現場は最高にいい雰囲気で撮影は思うように進んでいる。今日はインサートと出会うシーンを撮ります、それは終わったら東京に戻ります。僕はゆっくり寝ておいしいご飯を食べながら、久しぶりに英語の新聞を読みんがらコーヒータイムでした。

Well, at least it didn't rain !

It didn't rain and I got to take my bike up on the freeway! It was awesome to ride along with a big group like that. And although it was a bit cold it was an awesome ride! And now I gotta get out of the door, I am going to Sendai on the bullit train, because we start shooting on the show "Game On" for Travel Channel today.

いや~昨日は雨降らなくってよかったです！みんなと高速ものりました、本当に最高でした。お台場から練馬まですぐでした、もっと遠くまで行きたくなったけど。今朝早起きて実は仙台まで今から行きます。”Ｇａｍｅ　Ｏｎ”の収録は今日から始まるので。。。行ってきま~す！

Darn !

I thought it was going to be really nice weather like yesterday! But rolling out of bed this morning I realize that it is not that easy! I did trying to talk to the weather people...but I guess that they are not that easy to convince? Man, it is really cold out there today, and I am going to have ride 1 hour out to the meeting point and then another hour back to Ebisu where the event is going down, so that means I am going to have to dress accordingly!

本当に昨日みたいに天気はよかったら何の問題ないでしょうけど、今日は寒いよ！いまから練馬の店まで走って、一時間、それから恵比寿まで一時間！寒いのはいいですけど、雨が。。。いやいや、お願いあめは降らないように、願いたいです。それでは行ってきま~す。今日はバイクの日です：）

Fresh Juice

Yesterday I shot on a Internet movie thing for BIGLOBE, NEC. They have a sight over here in JP that is called "Tami no Chikara", not quite sure what it means? But they asked me if I could make some fresh fruit and vegetable juice by just squeezing the fruits with my bare hands...I didn't really think much about it, but once I got going it was really fun. And the juice actually tasted OK, although it was a bit chunky LOL.

やっぱり昨日の生ジュースは美味しかったです、ビッグローブのサイトで”民の力２”ではいろんな方がいろんなことに挑戦します。僕は思い切りやっちゃいました！リンゴ、バナナ、パインアップルとニンジントマトを全部手と口でつぶしてジュースにしました写真はそれです！意外と最後は美味しかったです。企画を聞いて。え～？大丈夫ですかって？思ったけど、自分としてやってみて最高に楽しかったです。。。まだ見れないですが、へんしゅうが終わったら是非見て見てください！一番問題はニンジンだったけど？それなりの方法もありました：）

There is a channel called travel channel, for those of you who watch cable or satellite TV I am sure you know about it. They make great shows like Anthony Bourdaine's No Reservations and the Amazing Race! Well, I have been helping them out setting up a show over here that I am going to feature on, and although it has been a very ruff ride, things are finally settling out and I think we are going to make it to the shooting next week. And while I have been preparing things for this show, I have also been working on my other things like the last shoot of the latest part of my series, Samurai Spirit.

この前からトラベルチャネルの番組のためにいろいろと動いてて、やっと最後の最後まで来れました。ここで最後に契約書に署名を入れたら、ＯＫです！そして、来週に入って撮影をガンガンして、僕の世界に届く番組に初めて出ることになります。それを考えるだけでもわくわくします。それはそれで忙しかったけど、その合間を見つけてサムライスピリットのシリーズの最近の分の最後の収録をしました。。。今回はマネジャーまで出ました、これは英語で僕はお前合気道を体験してこいっていうシーンです。

Travel Channel Debut !

This morning I finally got everything arranged for a new show called "Game On" featuring Todd Newton from the US, he is going to travel around the world and challenge game shows. I was asked to help out and be on the show as a sidekick, and luckily for me everything just worked out. It was a tight squeeze but when we all put our efforts together things are able to roll! This means that I will finally get to work with a global network ! I hope this can spin off more shows and jobs because it has been a long dream of mine to work with American TV/Film crew and industry. I have a lot to offer and feel confidnet that there are lots of content from Japan, that we can show to the rest of the world.

いや～！本当に良かったです、トラベルチャネルと仕事が決まりました！これで初めての世界デビューとなります。本当にうれしくってしょうがないです！今回はいろいろと裏方をやりながらアメリカのタレントとの相棒役でも出ることになったので、スケジュールを合わせるのに大変だったけどみんな力を合わせると何とかなるもんですね：）これは昔からの夢でした、アメリカのテレビや映画関係で仕事をすること。これは初の仕事なので、うまく行けばこれからも長い付き合いしてをしていい番組をたくさん撮りたいです。

Tombraider Underworld

When I finally get some time to just sit down in front of my TV and enjoy my game, it is like entering another world. I love to just sit there in the total darkness emerged in a good game or even a really good book. But lately I have not even had that kind of time to just sit down and enjoy things like that, but this game Tomb Raider Underworld makes me make some time to play!
ゲームの時間は子供が一緒に見てくれるか？寝せてからやります。僕たちはよく一緒にゲームをやるので、試合あみたいにゲームやるときの応援はあついです。でも、最近はゲームをやる時間はあまりなくって、さびしい。けど、このゲームだと少しでもできれば時間を作ってやります。今日の日記はブロッガーの日記と同じものにしてみようと思ったけど。。。アメバは携帯からやりやすいので、リアルタイムでアップができるのは楽しいです。まだここでは始めたばかりなのでゆっくりいろんなことを試しながら、よくなるんじゃないか？

When I went to Okinawa I met a breeder who offered to give me a dog! This is the one I ended up picking! He is so cute and tiny, really just a little baby at the moment. So I wasn't able to bring him home yet, he has to be older before they can part him from his mother. But that is what the latest member of the Pettas Family is going to look like!

この前沖縄に行ったとき友人の知り合いがブリーダーでバクチンと運送だいを払ってくれれば犬をあげると言われました！だいぶ前から家で犬を買いたかったけどなかなかいい子に出会えてなくって。。。それはこの子になった、ミニーピンチャーっていう犬です。まだ小さすぎて持って帰れてない。でも近いうちに東京に届くみたいです、それは本当に楽しみです。

Maruyama in M-1

Sunday was another day at the "Office", Maruyama had a fight in the Muay Thai semi pro division, that means they fight with no elbows. And he knocked out his opponent in the first round! It was a nice kick right up in the rib cage that caught him in the liver, and then he finished it all off quite nicely. It has been a while since he has fought so I was interested in seeing how he was going to do, but he handled himself very good and another K.O. win under the belt is always something good.

昨日は丸山君久しぶりの試合でした、Ｍ－１のＤｉｆｆｅｒ有明大会で何と一ラウンドＫ．Ｏ.勝ちしました。しあいが始まって間もなくきれいにミドルキックが入りました、一回ダウンをとってすぐにラッシュをかけて終わらしました。それを見て僕も久しぶりに格闘技を楽しめました、選手として勝つって言うのはやっぱり大切です。本当は月曜日の朝起きたくないけど、今日は天気もいいし気持ちもいいので、今から走ります。月曜日の朝で運動始めるとその週の始まりはいいのできっといいことたくさん待っているんじゃないか？
