それで昨日宇都宮から車で帰ってたら、行けるんじゃないか？そして、今まで明治道の上からでしか見ていない工事現場はやっと乗れました。本当にきれいだった、それと普通に行ってたよりも１０ｋｍ短縮したのですぐに帰れた。
They, I don't even know who they are, but they have been working on this section of the Highway for years now, and it has meant that the two most travelled streets in Tokyo have both been under construction for years. It has been a hassle to even want to go down those roads, but finally we are going to see the end of all those cut offs and repaired street section after section.
Because a part of the new highway/underway has finally been completed, here are a couple of shots to show you what it looks like at around midnight. It has made my way home on the Highway shorter by at least 10 km's, so next time I find myself in Saitama and I want to get back fast this is the way I will take.
